Training Announcements

The following classes will be offered at the Del Mar College Regional Police Academy.  Due to a reduction in grant funding from the Coastal Bend Council of Governments, all courses (except ALERRT) will be charged at full price to all attendees.  The cost associated with the course is listed below.  We apologize for this inconvenience and hope to be able to continue to support the coastal bend law enforcement community with no cost courses in the future. 

1. ALERRT - Level 1 #3311 – May 17th thru May 18th, 2025 (0800-1700) at Del Mar College Windward Campus (PS1-219). This course is free.  Register at www.ALERRT.org 
2. New Supervisor Course #3737 – May 20th thru May 22nd, 2025 (0800-1700) at Del Mar College Windward Campus (PS1-205).  Cost $85
3. Field Training Officer Course #3702 – June 2nd thru June 4th, 2025 (0800-1700) at Del Mar College Windward Campus (PS1-205).  Cost $97
4. Basic Civil Process #3131 - June 9th thru June 11th , 2025 (0800-1700) at Del Mar College Windward Campus (PS1-205).  Cost $85
5. ALERRT - Level 1 #3311 – June 21st thru June 22nd, 2025 (0800-1700) at Del Mar College Windward Campus (PS1-219).  This course if free.  Register at www.ALERRT.org 
6. ALERRT - Level 1 #3311 – August 16 thru August 17th, 2025 (0800-1700) at Del Mar College Windward Campus (PS1-205).  This course if free.  Register at www.ALERRT.org 

 For Del Mar College registration go to https://colss-prod.ec.delmar.edu/Student/InstantEnrollment and search "CJLE" or “CJSA” for enrollment.  You can also call 361-698-1328 TCOLE licensing exams are scheduled for the following dates starting at 9:00 AM.  Please arrive at the Police Academy Building located at 4101 Old Brownsville Rd. no later than 8:45AM with your driver license.  Currently there is no cost for licensing examinations.
